After Wayne was introduced to and fell in love with table top Cribbage, it was time to share this interesting variation with his friend Myles.
After being fascinated by Table Top Cribbage it was time to get another opinion. A couple of cold beers and a few games later, Myles was hooked!
Every inventor has to decide if their game product is marketable. Wayne & Myles knew Cribbage The Board Game was a good game, but would it sell?
The inventors of Cribbage The Board Game discuss how they came up with the name. They had a few options to choose from and needed to cash in on their relationship with Cribbage.
After the deciding to market the game, the inventors then needed to find a supplier for the components. The difficult part? It was before the time of internet or social media!
Wayne & Myles went from concept to a market ready product in less than a year. They had Cribbage The Board Game Inventory and it was time to start selling!
Their first Cribbage The Board Game mall demo launch was in Brandon, Manitoba. With feedback and suggestions from store management, they knew they were headed in the right direction.
They knew they had a winner in Cribbage The Board Game, but needed a serious upgrade on the components of the game. The board game market is competitive and you need to stand out on the store shelf.
To make changes to Cribbage The Board Game required a well thought out plan to make it successful. The inventors discussed the changes to be made and why.
Wayne & Myles knew the packaging for Cribbage The Board Game was not at a retail industry standard, so they needed to make some changes. This was the first of many packaging changes and upgrades .
They were starting to figure out what they needed to do to market Cribbage The Board Game and then they got a letter from an inventor lawyer in Alberta!
Wayne & Myles had had an unbelievable demo in Swift Current Mall, they kind you dream about! Their goal was to test market the and sell enough to cover the travel costs. They easily exceeded their modest goals!
The inventors find themselves to be media darlings. The media did a great job of telling their story and providing much needed exposure. Cribbage players noticed and discovered Cribbage The Board Game.
The best advertising is free advertising, especially for two financially challenged game inventors. It all started with an interview by a local newspaper. They never expected this response.
1500 Cribbage The Board Game sold in 6 weeks! What can we say? Roy was and still is "The Man"!

The Co-op stores in Moose Jaw, Prince Albert and Swift Current were each selling 300 to 500 Cribbage The Board Game!
